Burt Schreiber, O.D.
Serving at Leawood and Overland Park locations. Dr. Schreiber practices full-scope optometry including primary eye care of all ages, co-management of refractive and cataract surgery, and treatment of ocular disease, including dry eyes. Dr. Schreiber is a part of the InfantSee Program, which provides a free eye exam for infants from ages 6-12 months. He earned his doctorate of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. His externship training included a medical rotation at the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka, and a contact lens/pediatric rotation at primary care optometry clinics throughout the KC area. Dr. Schreiber was born in Overland Park and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He received his undergraduate degree in biology at Rockhurst University, where he played baseball. He enjoys keeping an active role in missionary eye care providing for those in need throughout Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala, as well as locally for WyJo Care, Homeless Connect KC and as member of the Leawood Lions Club. He lives in Leawood with his wife, Amber and their two kids.
