Dr. Kelsey Frederick is a Blue Springs, Missouri native. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, where she earned honors in all of her clinical coursework. Prior to optometry school, she graduated Cum Laude from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Frederick’s practice includes comprehensive eye care for the entire family, with special interests in pediatrics, prism correction, and myopia management. The first 9 years of her career were spent in downtown Chicago at a pediatric-focused practice but has relocated to KC to be closer to family. She has two daughters, Vera and Reese, who keep her busy on her days off.
